Hee-Nee ( H1N1 )
I think Ngee Ann Polytechnic is like the best tertiary instituition ever eventhough the regulations are pretty strict as compared to the rest of the schools. I don't know about you, but we have shuttle buses from key points in Singapore to school and not only that, we just received our free thermometer.
I know it's such a small thing but think of how many free thermometers that they have to issue out just in the School of Engineering. ( Just imagine the whole of Ngee Ann!! )
So anyway, i received mine on Monday and being the good student that i am, i decided to test it out only 4 days after receiving it ( when i should have checked my temperature everyday ). And the first reading that i got was spot on 37.6 C.
No shit man. I'm having a fever. I feel slightly feverish, and to make matters worse, i was reading the box of the thermometer and Ngee Ann pasted a sticker on the box and it read ".....that 37.6 C is the trigger temperature for Influeza A ( H1N1). "
Thanks eh.
Well, most of my friends are grumbling about why they aren't being quarantined and such and hoping to know someone that is infected with that another-species-of-flu-bug, but not for me man, i don't wanna be cooped somewhere foreign with medical specialists or whatsoever. I may dislike attending classes, but i know i'll hate being quarantined more. And if we were to be quarantined, what would happen to Sentosa next week?
hurhur.
