Wedging between cameras

I have yet to upload all the MES Christmas Party photos. And speaking of photos, I wanna clear the air.

I have been keeping quiet for far too long. And something someone said the other day made me snap.

Real bad.

I dislike it when people doubt me. Especially when they say it in an arrogant know-it-all tone. I am seriously a lazy person when it comes to taking photos but please, don't doubt my ability to take good shots.

The other day, one of my female friend questioned my knowledge in using a particular DSLR accessory. She asked in that i-am-more-experienced-than-you-because-i-have-money-to-buy-all-the-accessories-that-you-need tone. Or in short, being arrogant and making snide remarks about my lack of Canon accessories.

But i just ignored her because i know best.

I am not trying to boast but excuse me,

-I am using Canon DSLR and you girl, is using Nikon

-I get paid taking photos but you girl, don't

-I am invited to take for important events in school, and if I'm not wrong, you girl, just go around Singapore taking photos right?

-I attend Canon Courses which totally killed my brain cells, and you? Oh yea, just point and shoot.

-My Canon baby has been around me longer than your Nikon has with you

-The accessories that i want to buy are all good quality Canon products, thus expensive, yours? I don't even want to begin.

-My Canon Baby is harder to use therefore when i use your Nikon, it's like child's' play.

-And i always aim for those darn good accessories that really test my abilities unlike you girl, buying cheap stuffs off the shelves.

-Being just a beginner, i had done wedding photography not once, not twice but thrice girl.

-What about you? Oh yea, point and shoot again. Right. . . .

-And lastly, my Canon Baby is made in Japan. I don't need to talk about your DSLR right?

Seriously, I'm not trying to compare between Canon and Nikon users but this person just rub me the wrong way with her incessant boasting.

Furthermore, most of my friends uses Nikon and I wouldn't for the world care to compare their camera with mine, this girl just bring out the beast in me and I just want to put her in her place.

But once again people, never look down and doubt me just because i am such a lazy pig when it comes to taking photos during events.
