Yesterday, 2nd of August, was mother's birthday. And we got her what she wanted. Aside from that, brother bought "cakes" from Prima Deli.

At first, i thought it was my all-time favourite chocolate cake, but it turned out to be this:

Not that i was complaining because they look just oh-so-cute. And tasty too. (=


So anyway, i was on the phone just now when i looked out at the window to view the scenery outside since the sun was already setting. (I look out of my room window like everyday when the sun is setting or any other time to appreciate nature.)

And i saw this:

My first thought was that there were dark clouds passing but i kept staring at the scenery outside and can't help but felt a little puzzlement so i opened the window grill to take a better look.

I wonder what's happening on the other side. It's either there's an accident somewhere over the forest or the forest itself is burning.

Aside from that, the cresent on my side of the island is red in colour. No pictures tho' since my len's not that powerful. Yet.
