Glam is rocking
*yawn*
woke up at 12 today. Slept like at 4am yesterday since i woke up at 4.30pm. Watched 50 First Dates and Starsky and Hutch alone in the middle of the night. Saw a trailer for "The Ladykillers" and im sure as hell gona get that and "The Guru" for the movie session with the bestie. After watching the two dvds, talked to the boyfriend on the phone and now im wondering whether he told me what he said yesterday or was i dreaming since i was in the sleepy-and-drowsy mode when talking to him.
Anyhow, am listening to Motley Crue and the likes of the 80's Rock/Metal music scene. Motley Crue's If i die tomorrow totally rocks my socks as it summs up what Old School Rock is about. The heavy guitar riffs and head banging drum sounds. How i wish i was living in the Glam Rock era, or the 80's where seeing these ultimate rock bands are da bomb. It's like you're watching the grandfather of rock in action. The pioneers. The ones which moulds the music scene. Unlike rock groups these days, these old school rock went through hell and came back with a bigger sound. Take Kurt Cobain for instance, he went through low self-esteem, moral degradation, the lack of love and everything that you could imagine that happened to him did happen. But in the end, he revolutionalise the 90's music scene.
Next stop, the learning of If i die tomorrow. And Rock is NOT noise, it's MUSIC. People who dislike Rock are musically challenged.
Motley Crue
This is how Glam Rock's supposed to be. And if you think this is awful, wait till you see KISS.
