Kurt Cobain

A biography of Kurt Cobain.

I never knew much of Kurt Cobain until one day, when i decided to pick his book up during a book fair since i was bored out of my wits and can't seem to find an interesting book to read. I roughly knew about him as Din wanted so much to be him.

Ok, so i bought the book at a relatively low price of 6 bucks compared to Arif's and started reading it when i got home. Frankly speaking, i find the book a bit dificult to read and understand because of the range of bombastic words used. And when reading, i was wondering whether Arif and Din managed to grasp the understanding of the book and whether they were able to read between the lines. Seriously, the words used were the ones where i have not seen before and trust me, i've read many books to know that these words in Cobain's book were beyond the extent of my vocabulary. I collected pages and pages of words to check out in the dictionary so that i can better understand his life, and his life wasnt much fun.

Kurt cobain in my own opinion was a sick artist with ADD. Even though he made seriously good music, he definitely was not my idol as the book revealed many of his sickening habits and interest. You may disagree with me but that's because you have not read or understand the full content of the story.

But when reading Cobain's book, my emotions were all over the place. It's easy for me to feel his pain as im a sensitive person with extreme emotions and needless to say, after ending the book, i was kind of in an extreme sad state of mind. It was definitely depressing to know that his death could be prevented and he lead a life full of misunderstanding and miscommunication.

As for his songs, i now knew that not all songs are what they seem as there is a deep and fanthomless meaning behind each song. And since the book was read, the songs would put me in a mellow mood.

But even though Cobain lived a life full of misery, at least he found Courtney and had Francis Bean. And i think, that all that matters.
